The Brennis Bunch: A benefit for a friend

On August 25, 2011, The Brennis Bunch is hosting a benefit for Brennis Booth Jr. Many know Brennis from 2nd April Galerie and Studios (and Kathleen Howland Theatre), which he owns and operates along side his partner Todd Walburn. He and Todd were two of the pioneers of the downtown Canton arts scene. They have worked tireless hours. Whenever there is a friend in need, they find a way to help. It is time for the community to give back to them.

Recently, Brennis had open heart surgery. Being self-employed, he is not able to afford health insurance and now has mounting medical expenses. The Brennis Bunch is a group of friends and family, trying to help in any way possible. So we are holding a benefit on August 25 to raise money to help Brennis and Todd’s expenses. We cannot cover every penny, but with the help of your donation, we could make great strides. Any donation small or large is greatly appreciated. We will make sure you are acknowledged at the benefit.
